80000 tested Google Bard, but what were results? Why it was prematurely released?

Google leaders says 80,000 google employees tested Google AI Bard. But then what were results ?

What was recall and precision?

And if it was bad why was it released to use as a full fledged product?

Why warnings are laid out now, that it wont work well? As now you know it is not working well? So who made the test cases tested by 80000?

80000 google employees may have tested it up, but what was given to them to test, was it the same Bard that is in market? If so what were the tests they ran? Same as that people are testing on their phones? Or they were given restricted testcases to test on BARD AI ?

Who developed BARD software with AI ? When chapGPT, BLOOM can do it, why cant Google do it? Clarity of LLM are needed to generate some nice LLM Models and also how to use data on web, which Google employees know well.

Google can do Google search so why cant it do this?

Listing 80000 employees cant hide the failure of system to first make a good AI and then failure to present it for use.

The time of release of Bard AI was wrong too.

Project Management need to be improved, testors test what is given to them and coders code what is asked of them. Its a Management decision to get a thing tested or made, by providing the guidelines and vision plan, rest Google coders are the best in world till now, so are the testers as we never faced issues with Google Search.

Now in short I will explain the life cycle of a software generation, first topic is chosen, vision is shared, software requirement guidelines are set, then only coding and testing are started. Hence, all key decisions are made by managers which comes down from CEO vision too.

When we were working 8 years back as engineers and a Google engineer came in front of us, we used to say, “He must be a real techy and so intelligent to code and test in Google”

And now, after saying 80000 engineers failed, it looks like degradation of Google Engineers, after degradation of it in products in market. This was least expected.

The management should take the failure responsibility on its own hands and work on timely improvements in the BARD AI. Everyone wants to see Google in top ranks again.
