Elon Musk’s LLM — Grok, does it read your X (Twitter) accounts?

Note: The article is on authors medium accounts as well. This is not a news article.

Elon Musk, a name that owns Tesla vehicles, claims AI in them to be in beta stage, it owns SpaceX massive business, and as we all know Starlink is also one of Elon’s popular initiatives. In today’s world all this amounts quite well in business ownership.

Now, he recently bought Twitter, a social media platform. Since then he did a mass layoff’s from Twitter and encourage those who remain in this company to be willing to work hardest. Since then Twitter name is now changed to X. Well, on the top of it the super rich businessman made X (Twitter) a paid company, whatever be the payment he asks, its a paid social media platform now.

Now, after all that, he is now focusing on getting back on AI. The AI company which he left long back was OpenAI, he now makes a reentry in hardcore AI business. His new tool Grok works on LLM based AI.

So what is Grok apart from being linked to Elon Musk’s business ventures?

#Some_Points

  1. Would Grok ask money just like X does or it would be a free to use tool ?
  2. Grok is in beta now, means its not a fully ready to use product, as is Tesla AI, I heard its in beta too, I may be wrong but that is what I read at many places, please correct me if I am wrong.
  3. So can we get to hear when beta of Tesla vehicles come into production? And maybe after that Grok may come to the production version too?
  4. It is well stated by Elon Musk team that Grok a conversational AI tool rely on data from Twitter (now, X) apart from other web resources.
  5. So would our twitter data be send to Grok to train Grok?
  6. Is it safe to tweet on X (Twitter) now, given, X is owned by Elon Musk now as is Grok?
  7. Would our private data no longer follow privacy policy of X(Twitter)?
  8. Would xAI, the AI company of Musk that owns Grok, would it maintain privacy policy of Twitter?
  9. Has the personal data already being fed in Grok from Twitter (X)?
  10. How to stop our data on X(Twitter) to being fed in a language model of Grok?
  11. Would Grok pay news agencies who post content on Twitter (X) for up-to-date news which may keep its language model Grok up to date?
  12. Would some news agencies drop out of X (Twitter) as Grok may train using their data just as some news agencies dropped out of chatGPT training?
  13. Is Grok just using popular AI algorithms to train Grok or there is something new in training?
  14. Some new algorithms? Or is the difference just in data source, and added humor in the chatbot?
  15. We hope the humor is not sarcastic!
  16. When can common people use Grok without a fee as on X now?
  17. Would one day Tesla AI rely on Grok too?
  18. What was the kind of AI Tesla use — image processing, sound, decision making, and what else? Can we have the details of that as well, so that others can enter this field if that holds true? Any nice competition is healthy.

Thanks for reading.
