Meta’s smart glasses are already here. Mark Zukersberg says it is a device that must be used.

Musk says his car units would have Sentience.

What else? We can have other devices!

Alexa by Amazon? Where is your Sentience?

Smart watches are already here,

Smart belts? For trousers?

With more future smart devices, earrings, pendants, pens, and mobile phones, can’t you embed Sentience in them? It’s possible with Agentic AI.

Do we need to wait for basic Sentience?

How can basic Sentience be encoded in smart devices?

Let’s start with basic knowledge. To start with let’s start with a basic definition,

“Sentience is the ability to feel, see, hear, and experience feelings such as excitement, joy, grief, complacency, and sadness .”

So, how can we incorporate Sentience into our code in our apps?

Not a big deal to start with. Agentic AI is all you need for it. Access Metrological data, current location, and more with AI tools.

But yes, it would be a big deal when this basic Sentience is common.

Let’s make the basics first, then?

Imagine questions,

You have a smart device, such as a smartwatch, or you have a smart trouser belt.

The device, whatever it is, has to hear raindrops or read the latest forecast.

Asks you- “It’s raining, you like rain?” And it knows you love light rains. It says,

“Come open your windows and experience the joy of rain. It’s not a heavy rain, it’s drizzling.”

This can be integrated into an app. Not a big thing, it is? With the help of Agentic AI, we can access tools to report the phenomenon.

Or another scenario, on the road, suddenly rain starts. The smart gadget in your pocket detects it and says to you, “Sir, come on, take shelter, it is raining heavily. You may get soaked. Get under that shed of that shop.”

Then, on a sunny day when you are walking in the Sun.

The smart glasses say, “Please drink water, I can’t see you so tired in the hot sun. I am sad to see you sweating like this.”

This one can also be done, possibly with Agentic AI.

Another one,

The humidity is high, a smart bot in your pocket, something like Pocket Alexa says, “Humidity is high, I feel you must be it. Switch on the air cooler now, you would feel better.”

This can be done too.
