Let me provide examples of truly intelligent systems that use AI or are algorithmic.

Let’s start with a smart dustbin that can see what is being put into it and direct the waste to other bins, perhaps from yellow to green to red. What a progression! It would use AI and authenticate the chip in your hand. I discussed chips in hands in my previous blog article.

Then comes the smart oven or smart microwave, which knows exceptionally well who has switched it on through biometric or face recognition or a chip on their hands. It can then repeat the recipes to be made, ask what else to add, and communicate with other kitchen appliances. For example, in a smart AI-based kitchen, the microwave can instruct the coffee maker to beat the coffee while it heats the milk, and then the microwave communicates with a human or robot to transport the milk to the beater and whisk it well.

Then comes the Smart bathroom; show your chip or biometric, and the bathroom will display the light of your choice: white, yellow, or red. The geyser asks you what temperature of water you need: yesterday’s temperature or a new one?
