In China, World Humanoid Robots Games 2026

The first version of the Humanoid Tournament was held at the same time last year. A five-day event started on Saturday.

More than 2000 robots from 666 teams from around the world are participating. Why do they all look the same in the tournament? Is it actually a tournament? So many teams, but why do they all look alike except for the hand band color?

Here, why are names written in Chinese on robots in the image on the Taipei Times news page? Why not English?

Updates are needed from Apptronik, Figure, Tesla, Unitree, Boston Dynamics, and others building bodies. Introduce your robot’s name and who is participating in which event? What intelligence layer did they use? Which private companies sponsored the games-Alibaba or Z.ai?

It was amazing to see the stadiums packed with cheering crowds, as if it were the human World Cup! Everyone wanted to see the same marathon clip of a robot crossing the finish line. What were the tickets for games priced at? Did the tournament attract foreign tourists to watch the games? Not much on Beijing Webpage.

Boxing, football, marathon, high jump, sprinting, Tai Chi, and table tennis, to mention a few. They would also participate in other activities such as household work, industrial tasks, restaurants, emergency services, and so on.

It’s not over; it will continue until 26th August. So watch out. Let’s see how the winning robots would celebrate their way to the top in China.

Was participation the key? Or do even winners in each tournament matter?

What’s the winning gift? A gold medal or more?

Beijing-based X-Humanoids broke many human records. However, their running momentum was unstoppable until humans helped.

People worldwide are watching these robots run faster than humans- no, not on the same podium.

Let’s see how China portrays the final results across the various fields of competition. It’s still going on; let’s wait for the final day then.
